據加拿大衛生部消息，近日加拿大衛生部發布公告，提議將《食品中化學污染物最大限量列表》內關于土豆中糖苷生物堿（glycoalkaloids）的限量轉移至《食品污染物與其他摻假物質列表》。
糖苷生物堿是植物體內的一類次生代謝產物，主要分布于茄科和百合科的一些植物體內 ,因此被稱作甾體糖苷生物堿或茄屬糖苷生物堿。
據了解，作為加拿大政府透明監管以及公開議程的一部分，加拿大衛生部將充分征求有關人士的意見，這包括進口商、出口商、食品企業、監管人員、執法機構。有關人員可于8月4日至10月17日期間登陸open.canada.ca在線提交意見。
