This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of phenylethyl acetate （CAS Reg. No. 103-45-7） when used as an inert ingredient （solvent） at a maximum of 0.015% in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest. Technology Science Group Inc., on behalf of Janeil Biosurfactant Company, submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act （FFDCA）， requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
