2023年3月3日，斯里蘭卡標準局發布兩項食品標準的修制訂，意見征集期截至2023年5月3日。1：制訂粗糖標準 ,主要內容：產品定義、基本成分和可選配料（生姜香料）、感官要求（不含添加色素、昆蟲和異物）、具體品質標準、重金屬限量要求（見下表）、包裝和標簽規定、取樣和檢測方法等。2。修訂即食水果飲料規范（SLS 729：2010），增訂水果飲料中的含有成分，新增條目“百香果、火龍果的果汁/果泥/果肉/濃縮物中可能包含水果籽核”。
