據美國聯邦公報消息，2月24日美國食品藥品管理局發布條例稱，鑒于部分獸藥已經停產或者市場已無售，撤銷林可霉素、維及霉素、泰樂菌素等20種抗生素類獸藥的許可。新規定自2017年2月24號實施。
本次撤銷的許可為18種新獸藥申請許可（NADAs），以及2種簡式新獸藥申請許可（ANADAs）。20種獸藥均為人畜共用抗生素。
新條例的發布與FDA獸藥中心一直倡導的合理使用抗生素的原則一脈相承。

The Food and Drug Administration （FDA） is withdrawing approval of 18 new animal drug applications （NADAs） and 2 abbreviated new animal drug applications （ANADAs）。 These withdrawals of approval of NADAs and ANADAs for antimicrobial drugs of importance to human medicine that are administered to food-producing animals in medicated feed are being made because the products are no longer manufactured or marketed.
