    The Global Food Safety Initiative has reissued its Guidance document Sixth Edition under version 6.3 to include requirements related to the storage and distribution sector.

    It means company food safety management schemes that cover these areas can achieve GFSI recognition through its benchmarking process.

    Members of the Benchmark Committee include Vince Craig, managing director, Meadowbrae Technical Services, Gys Greeff, supplier quality manager at The Coca Cola Company and Vanessa Broadnax, corporate brands integrity manager, Fresh at Ahold.
