據世界動物衛生組織消息，11月18日克羅地亞農業部向OIE報告稱，10月20日卡爾洛瓦茨縣（Karlovacka）的一家農場發生羊布氏桿菌疫情。
實驗室檢驗發現，有313只綿羊疑似受到影響，其中1只發病，發病動物已被銷毀。感染來源尚不清楚。克羅地亞曾于2014年11月28日發生羊布氏桿菌疫情。

Suspect animal was found during regular testing in the framework of B. melitensis programme. Animal was positive with rose Bengal test and complement fixation test, euthanised and sampled for bacteriological examination. B. melitensis was isolated.
